Bucket Truck Operator

Position Overview
We are looking for a dependable, safety-driven Bucket Truck Driver/Operator to help bring event and streetscape installations to life. In this role, you will drive/operate a bucket truck to install banners, flags, and custom décor for festivals, city programs, and major events.
What You’ll Do
- Safely operate bucket trucks and aerial lifts for banner and flag installations
- Install and remove street pole banners, event signage, feather flags, and decorative elements.
- Install & Repair aluminum flagpoles- including digging and mixing concrete
- Work closely with the install crew to execute layouts efficiently and accurately
- Load, prep, and organize banners, hardware, and install kits before each job
- Perform daily vehicle and equipment inspections
- Follow all safety procedures, including fall protection and traffic awareness
- Ensure banners and hardware are installed cleanly, securely, and aligned properly
- Travel to job sites including downtown streets, event venues, and festival grounds
- Assist with shop prep and post-event tear-down when needed
What We’re Looking For
- Valid driver’s license
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift 30+ lbs and handle physical, hands-on work
- Strong attention to detail (clean installs matter in our work)
- Team player with a positive, get-it-done attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience with banner, flag, or signage installation
- Experience with digging & concrete setting
- OSHA or aerial lift certification
- Experience working festivals, city programs, or outdoor events
- Basic mechanical or rigging knowledge
Work Environment
- Outdoor, on-location work (streets, event sites, fairgrounds)
- Mix of independent equipment operation and team-based installs
- Some early mornings & late evenings, w/ optional weekend work—especially during event season
