Maintenance Mechanic
The Maintenance Mechanic assists the Maintenance Manager in repairing and
maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment at all three locations of Amigos Foods.
Job Duties:
- Perform routine inspections, repairs, and maintenance on all production equipment, including conveyor systems, pumps, motors, and other types of food processing machinery.
- Perform fabricating duties.
- Perform some electrical and plumbing duties
- Troubleshoot all areas of production equipment to ensure it is in good working order, making repairs/adjustments as needed.
- Other Duties as Assigned
Essential Functions:
- Maintain standards of food plant sanitation in all production activities.
- Ensure good manufacturing practices are adhered to at all times
- Adhere to the company's production standard operating procedures
- Maintain a clean work area at all times
- Prevent costly downtime and disruptions to production schedules by ensuring that equipment is in good working order and catching problems before they become more serious
Position Qualifications
- Have experience with various tools such as wrenches, pliers, socket sets as well as welding equipment.

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
Experience: One to two years' related experience. Experience in food processing
