We are seeking a Service and Support Technician for very large digital printing equipment. You will be part of our Production & Support Team. Electromechanical assembly experience is beneficial in this role. You must be familiar with both hand and power tools, and you should be comfortable working around live electricity, as many of our products require intricate wiring with an interest in printing and color management.

You will learn the build and assembly process; printer operation and ultimately be responsible for the technical support of Digitech printing equipment to include field service, upgrades, troubleshooting and performing preventive maintenance.

Duties and Responsibilities

Ability to read instructions represented in manuals, drawings, schematics etc. and follow them with precision is extremely important.

• Build, assemble and service equipment
• Field support, upgrade and perform preventative maintenance on company equipment
• Ability to analyze complex both hardware and software technical issues and identity root cause for resolution
• Travel within the USA as needed

Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Manual dexterity
• Understand simple wiring diagrams/drawings
• Strong attention to detail, quality-focused and willingness to learn
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Lift up to 50 lbs

Helpful experience

• Graphic Prepress and design software(s) experience– Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
• Pantone and Color Library knowledge
• Strong Color Management skills
• Proficient with RIP software- Onyx, Caldera, ErgoSoft, Print Factory, +
• Strong understanding of digital file formats (pdf, eps, tiff)
• Knowledge with AutoCad software helpful
• Knowledge with CNC, Digital Cutting, Routing, Plotters
